Company 52 Web Development Agency
After joining Company 52, they asked me to rebrand from top to bottom. First, I started with a Mood Board. In addition, I wrote a description of the team which would serve as a guide and eventually the exact company description:
We are the special forces of web development. Our team is highly trained, highly talented and the best in the business as what we do. Clients value that we can drop out of nowhere into a dire situation, secure the perimeter, take immediate action on the track, and create productive outcomes. Our work is exceptional in quality and stands out. The culture of our team is marked by quality and an attention to detail both in the seen and unseen elements. It has a feeling of familiarity both to Wall Street, Main Street and to those of the country road because we are at home in every environment. We serve with integrity, honor and responsibility. We are Company 52.
Next I expounded with textures, colors, typography and logo concepts.
The final logo you saw above, a product of all the collective aesthetics and concepts in the references above. The next step was to design the website and portfolio.
With the logo and identity documents in place, I created the website. I wanted it to be a full-screen type experience, but also format for the iPad well. It scales for large screens without being responsive by framing the website beyond the limits of most screens so that on larger screen it feels full. All the slideshows (and there are many), two on the home page (upper brand-statement area and lower portfolio spotlight area), are touch-friendly and allow the user to flip the slides left and right with a touch of the finger.
