Zappos Hybrid Search

As a part of our project to redesign Zappos, I experimented with an implementation of the Amazon "Hybrid Search" approach to a search results page. The concept combines an editorial image, promoted product and organic search results.

What you see here is a draft of that concept, within the aesthetic we were toying with at the time, and products presented as tiles. Within the product array, I placed ads which would be targeted to individual users with an algorithmic personalization engine.
